… really?

edit : when i first heard this sentence, i thought it meant this -

when you love a person, truly and really, you dont have to hide how you feel about that person for him to know how you feel about him, and for fireworks to begin happening between you two.

my bitter heart muttered, no, so not true.

after reading the sentence again. i find that it could also mean this -

when you are in a loving and secure relationship with a person, you can be yourself at all times.

i think in some cases.. a poster may engage you, make you feel like it was printed just for you, touch your heart .. but it’s really just very good marketing at work.

after a nap and listening to Decembers one more time, lo and behold, the damn sentence has another meaning -

when you are in a loving and secure relationship with a person, you can always let him know how you feel about him

i always avoid the L-word for a while when seeing someone. in some relationships, i dont even say it at all. but the truth is, i’m quick to love someone. very quick. i could meet someone, know them for as long as a 15-minute conversation, and love them. but sometimes the potency of that word can be so dangerous, especially if the other person holds it in high regard. then you are just so vulnerable.
