Sunsets and Kway Teow and a Bad Movie

after almost a whole week of rain (and being caught in it every day, grr) and certain less-than-happy occurences, i was absolutely thrilled this evening to be greeted by a gorgeous sunset. i love sunsets. they make me so happy. cos in the few moments that i take to suitably adjust my camera settings and then to compose the perfect shot, i forget everything. i think of nothing sad, i think of nothing angry. and sometimes i suspect this is why i like taking photos.
met up with a bunch of my old schoolmates today for dinner, since it’s Darren’s bday and all. we unfortunately did not get to pull that candle-in-cake thing on him, because ummmm. sometimes one has to take into account the sebum factor before pulling that stunt, and Darren’s sebum is something that is not to be messed with, really. hehehehehe.

went to watch The Sentinel on a whim after that. i didnt really know what it was about before this, just that it had some big names like Michael Douglas, Kim Bass and Eva Longoria. so cant be THAT bad, right?
grr, i was so wrong. we were about 10 minutes late for the movie, but i wished that we’d been late for the whole thing. it was such a boring flick. guess what it’s about?? only the most banal plot ever.
… Assasination of the US President. because there’s a mole in the Secret Service.
hooo hummmm.
for something that ‘exciting’, the buildup absolutely stank. mediocre acting. there was no twist. couldnt connect with the protagonist. antagonist wasnt very antagonistic. cinematography not gripping enough. climax sucked. screenplay was boring. sieutheng and ivan fell asleep. yeah. i dont recommend this movie at all.

i’ve got this thing for men who smell good, it’s ridiculous. i had this one ex, he was a major jerk and we were together for a very short period of 3 months. i didnt like him very much because it wasnt easy to have a nice conversation with him, but i absolutely loved being held by him solely cos he smelt so damn good. that heady mix of clear soap, musky aftershave and CK Crave was the only reason anything even happened between us.
sometimes strangers walk past me and i turn to look at them because they smell so nice. for a few moments i entertain in my head how it would feel to be bathed in that scent, to be enveloped in their arms. then i turn around and walk away.

I’ve also got this thing about guy with scents…..
thr was this guy i was with that had the absolutely gorgeous smell of malboros mixed with his perfume…sadly we kinda drifted apart..

yep, some fragrances are made to react with the smell of cigs apprently. Armani Mania would be one of those.
and CK Crave IS heavenly.

That sunset is B-E-A-U. The colours look so harmonious. Good shot! Sunsets I have none, but I spent the whole evening strolling along KLCC park and took truckloads of pictures and for the first time in my life, I saw the two towers upfront and it was magnificent beyond words..
I felt like I own the world.hehe.I love panaromic photographing. And I still very much LOVE your sunset picture.
And that skirt! Banyak gila warna. why laaaaaaa…
Oh oh oh..btw, it’s raining elephants alright. And yesterday did NOT rain! *chants hallelujah*
For once, a warm & sunny evening feels so good. And today has yet to rain:D

the sunset was taken in taman midah? just a guess hee// the reward isn’t generous enuff for me to crack my head.. huhu
suprisingly, it isn’t rare to see skies like this in malaysia.
or so i think; bcos the rare occasions that i peer outside in the late evenings, i see something similiar..
but i hv to say the colours are incredible. normally those i see are just starking red or blazing orange without that much blue.

Awesome sunset shot, dude!! Simply awesome. And trust me, I know what I am talking about. The colors are like so rare and so un-Malaysian. Great shot.

Si eres cualquier cosa como mí, odias el pensamiento del gasto cuarenta horas a la semana en un trabajo del punto muerto. Las luces fluorescentes de zumbido, la gerencia idiota, el hecho de que necesitas despertar doloroso temprano - el único alto punto son que viene viernes cada semana. Dije tan a me, allí me consigo ser una manera mejor. ¡Una cierta manera de hacer el dinero que me deja fijar mis propias horas y hacer una cantidad cómoda del dinero!
