Blog Crash of 2006

if one more person texts me to say ‘assalamualaikum’, i swear i’m going to bitchsmack that person in the face.
for real.
my domain has been down for about 36 hours now, and was replaced with a website of Arabic propaganda during that period. i have no idea what the heck was going on!!! the techsavvy in my circle are pretty sure it was a hack, but i have no clue as to why anybody would want to hack into my domain! anyway it’s all good now. initially i was a bit irked cos i thought i’d lost a couple of posts and some comments, but Whei Meng very kindly fixed that in like, 2 seconds. phwoar. dont underestimate the prowess of IT people.
so i’ve got all my posts and comments back, as well as a pint of Ben and Jerry’s and some Max Brenner chocs all the way from Singapore courtesy of JT, so i’m a happy camper once again. and yes, if you’re eagle-eyed enough to notice, the post on the Taylors Debate is GONE, not because my webhost screwed up, but because A HUGE JERK NAMED ANDREW LOH decided to email the permalink of that post to Matteus.
THANKS ANDREW YOU GREAT BIG JERK.
anyways, i’m back to terrorize the blogging world!!! without a turban, thank you very much.

.. well, good to know everything is up and running. used to get my ‘guestbook’ hacked with all those pseudo-terrorist propaganda nonsense, that’s why i took it off. oh well, cyber-terrorism’s the buzzword now.
oh by the way, yeah.. talking about jerks, don’t worry.. there are a lot of Andrew Loh’s around in this world.. that’s life. he’s jealous that you’re pinkypau :P

Actually, I wanted to tell you that your blog used to be in the same server with quite a number of porn sites before this latest issue. I think they have already moved you to another server. Not sure were the porn sites causing problems though.

So that’s what happened to your blog! I just thought you were having server problems when your page wouldn’t appear… I doubt I’d have been able to see the Arabic site because I was using the University computer system…
