  hee… see.. phuket wasn’t that bad after all.. I miss bangkok!! love the shopping though.

  alea : all these ppl on the streets just cincai call out greetings according to whatever nationality they think u are. i guess the nihao ones got it right since i AM chinese.. but why nobody say apa khabar to me wan! do i not look malaysian??

  nick au : just because ppl say strange things to me and i’m eating a lot of phuket food doesnt mean im happy ok… yeah bangkok owns phuket big time lah.

  artificially : hey i found the PERFECT spot okay. sigh. emo. nevermind, i wait for merlion moment. ya damn sien batting all these hands away. but my fault oso lah, siapa suruh walk around phuket and go to bars alone.

  absolutely! of course bangkok owns phuket! who gives a damn about the sandy white(assuming) beaches when you can walk in suan lum night market or head to siam square/paragon and maybe even do pratunam area….

  btw, going to head there again in May and may even relocate to work there permanently. Therefore next time you’re down in BKK can hang out or something..

  I stayed in BanThai at Patong beach as well… shouldn’t be too far away from where you are. I just noticed on the last day most of the coconuts sold were burnt ones… i tot they were normal ones. =p so yeah.. can get them everywhere… But I only know of 1 place that had mango rice worh, and thats quite a walking distance away summore.

  If i were there, I could probably bring u around try some of the local food that was introduced to me by some of the local ppl… but then again, you’re a smart girl merz… u’ll find ur way around.

  Yeah… I kinda knew you would definitely be disturbed by hamsap caucasian men, coz’ they probably can’t tell a thai to a chinese or even a japanese. =p And i know someone like u would definitely be walking around alone exploring. =)

  A common phrase I get is the vendors ask u “where u from my friend?”… then i go “malaysia”… and they’ll answer back “Oh… malaysia… HELLO KAWAN! SUDAH MAKAN?”. I get that pretty often… and its the exact same phrase everywhere!

  it’s maybe because you don’t look like Malaysian. HORR! you aint brown sista, they think all Malaysians are all brown little creatures. haha. N ur chinese, chinese are all over the worlddddddddddddd! lalala. and i look like one too. I went to Morroco, and they wished me “Konichiwa” loads of time. with my tudung on! rawrrrr. They didnt wished me Assalamualaikum or somethin.

  haha. nevermind, keep ur eating buds busy n the next thing u know, you’ll be back in KL. yeay! =DD

  therealanon : i stayed on rat uthit, the road that is parallel to patong beach road. aiyo so many mango sticky rice lah! haha the dirty old caucasian men will disturb anyone, be it local or tourists or extraterrestrials. hehe the msian phrase i got was Apa Khabar. hey one time i said i was from Kazakhstan … hahahaha the guy didnt know what to say. damn kau funny!

  you should go to Morroco omg! It’s so freakin beautiful! The atmosphere, the people, the arts and the FOOD. Don’t go to Casablanca if you want to know the real Morocco, it’s just another cosmopolitan city. go to Fez and Marrakesh! Marrakesh’s Djenna el-Fnaa is astonishing. In the day is just a normal market and there’s a place called Souk, it’s a shopping paradiseeeee!! around 5000 shops in Souk and when it hits dark, the Djenna el-Fnaa damn happening. entertainers everywhere, around 3000 stalls of diff varieties of food! THEY HAVE ESCARGOT FOR FLIPPIN SAKES. omg. die, i miss Morroco edi. T.T
