Marmalade Playtime And Things Like That

i’m in one of those crotchety grumpy moods, and it’s all thanks to one big mother of a see hum that was in my bowl of curry laksa. i’ve been spending the past 2 days either perched precariously on the toilet, or rolling around in bed clutching my stomach and screaming. both not pretty sights. especially since i’m not allowed milk, and all the best comfort foods (ice cream, chocolate, caramel macchiatos!) contain, but of course, milk.
but i do foresee myself getting sick more frequently in the future. ahem. because as the laws of serendipity would have it, i was tended to by the cutest ever doctor whilst i was in my miserable state of food poisoning. it is an understatement to say that i am all aflutter with excitement at this new discovery! oh, be still my heart. wait, that could be a cardiac murmur! i need a doctor! i need that doctor!
okay lah no more playing. because i am angsty and stomach-churny and desperately craving ice cream, i refuse to write anything. i’m just going to put up pictures of a time when i wasnt suffering from this accursed affliction of food poisoning. ah, to long for the good old days! such carefree seehum-eating nostalgia.

That Justin sings! apparently the girls only attended that gig the other night at Jam Asia cos of that guy -_-||| really meh??? but since he’s in Cleo’s hot bachelor list then yup I guess. Oh I wanted to ask you this longggg time ago, where did you get that white cardi from!? heh heh can’t help it but noticed. ive got a nfriend who’s nicknamed timtams too. i thought we knew the same person hahaha but no. congrats on mt. kinabalu too! and why is everybody hiking this year!? I’ve got 4 friends who went in March and April, another one’s going end of this month. I’ll probably die doing rock climbing apatah lagi daki gunung adoi but i shall conquer mt. kina someday!

I always order my (insert name of Malaysian dish) without see-hum after a bad experience once. Upon biting into its (presumably) juicy innards, it promptly squirted a bloody tasting mixture of sand and pus into my mouth.

Su Ann, luuuurve the dresses you and your cousin are wearing in the pic.
Also, do you look like your mum or dad you think? Your parents look incredibly young to have teen kids =) They must not let the stresses of daily life get to them, eh? A lot of people say that is the secret to staying young!
Lastly, THANK YOU for not giving away who was voted out on American Idol. I don’t know where Malaysia is though - are you guys watching the episodes aired in the same week as the States? We are watching it a week later. Can’t wait to see who wins - who’s your favourite to become the next American Idol?

lalita : haha my mom actually looks much older than her real age, no thanks to cigarettes. dad tries his best to keep young. but then again, so does my mom, by means of borrowing her AHEM 18 yr old daughter’s stuff. we get AI here about a few hours after the states, so its in the same day with a slight delay. yes see hum is kerang :D eh can eat yogurt when u get food poisoning?? i was told to stay far far away from dairy products and coconut!

HAHAHAH - your mom is damn artful when it comes to raiding your wardrobe.
Maybe you should have a reciprocal agreement where you can lease garments/ accessories for special occasions. In exchange for certain..favours of course. Like caramel cheesecakes and pints of Haagen Daz in your favourite flavours =p
And OMG how can your brother be 14! I am going to stick to my delusion that he is 9, OK, max 10 in the picture. Why so baby-faced wan, doesn’t he get his face cubit-ed all the time?

Hey Su Ann! I am sure you are not meant to eat dairy products when having food poisoning but my nurse aunties say the exception is plain yoghurt and highly recommend just that for IBS, food poisoning etc. The friendly culture in it is meant to restore your stomach to its intended happy state.
