Heya:) I was just browsing through your political pieces.

I’m impressed by the research and your effort put into linking other articles and quoting other people.

My family and I have been throwing our support behind Hannah Yeoh since she got elected in Subang Jaya. My sister volunteered at her service centre for a while during her break.

I guess I just want to encourage all Malaysians out there, because even though progress is slow, it is occuring. The little things that we do, like in my sister’s case, processing complaints and issues from the neighbourhood folk, and in everyone else’ case, the decision to stay will bring about change in the long run.

If we want to banish apathy from our country, we must first banish apathy from ourselves. The “nevermindlah, let’s just leave the country” mindset is not much different from the general mindframe of the government and the police force.

Oh, I’m such an idealist.

sam : my mom was on her way to the bank. she was mugged outside the bank. i love how you just come in here and comment about my mother’s ‘plain stupidity’ without any background knowledge. what an idiot.

anyway, i’d like to think that malaysians are civilized enough so that members of society can walk around with however much money they want in their pockets without fear of being mugged.
