guess who came to New York to surprise me for my birthday :)))
edit: i added a video comment in the comments section! please go view it because this new video comments function is the absolute coolest. i mentioned my thanks in the video, and also who came to surprise me for my birthday, though most of you already got it right :) as for the worst partner-in-crime story… haiyooooo you guys so have to hear it. will blog the story after i’m done with my midterm today!

Lol, wow, its so funny to finally hear your voice for the first time. In many ways you sound both very similar and very different to the way I always expected you to sound like (not that I can actually articulate any of those expectations).
I also think its cool that you already use NYer slang like “how it all went down.” On the other hand, I'm not a NYer and I still like to use that phrase sometimes.

i dont think so..! you just put it in a box and write on the label that it's food, but not anything that requires refrigeration, and is packed up in airtight containers. not sure about australia's regulation though

im so sorry the vid didnt load, I cant seem to load it either. No worries, actually I didnt say much in the vid except “Happy Birthday” and that I hope you have a nice 1st NYC birthday. I also asked if the surprise was Martian, but the answer is already out so hehe:) Anyway. May I say, you're incredibly sweet and perky in your vids. U're too cute! No wonder Martian sayang you so much:) Cant wait to hear the whole story about the surprise!!

my boyfriend tells me…after joining a sorority my way of talking has completely changed. and im mad at the fact that i don't do good in interviews cause im always scared and nervous and he mentions that after joining the sorority - the way i talk affects my interview process also -_-
but it is finally great to know how you sound like since it is over the computer haha =]

its funny because now that i have joined a sorority it has completely changed my way of talking also. my boyfriend doesnt like it as much because it is more of a “white girl” kind of talk. and the fact that this has changed me… it is hard to find how to change it a bit because i am unaware that i am doing it sometimes. Like for example… during interviews now… it affects it too and my boyfriend tease me about it. I am nervous and scared during interviews :(!!!
but yeah… its great to finally hear and see you talking for the first time. i demand more of it!
