remember this post where i had to collect 200 comments for that trip to London? i won my prize fair and square, so Martian and i were making plans to go to London next month, our last holiday before i leave for Columbia and all that… but due to unforeseen circumstances, the trip is no longer on. i am sad and pouty, but ultimately mature enough to understand. *takes deep breath*
London wouldn’t be the same without Martian anyway.
but it’s not London i will be going to :D
i’m going to …. MANCHESTER!!! or to be precise, i’m going to OLD TRAFFORD!!!
so here’s the story. i was recently asked to head a team of 5 bloggers for a contest-within-a-contest, in which the goal is to come up with a game plan that will win the bigger contest for sure. both contests are organized by Mister Potato, and the grand prize is an all-expenses paid trip for 30 winners to Manchester, England to visit Old Trafford.
to be one of the 30 winners of this contest and that free trip to Manchester, what you have to do is collect the seals or empty packets of the Mister Potato limited edition packs of potato chips, clip them all together and send them off to the headquarters. 3 points for each red canister seal, 2 points for the bigger packet and 1 point for the smaller packet. 30 winners with the highest points at the end of the contest duration will win the trip to Manchester and mucho bragging rights!
i was teamed up with 5 bloggers for this contest, and together we had to figure out the mother of all game plans (though not necessarily execute it), in order to theoretically collect as many Mister Potato seals/packs as possible and win free tickets to Manchester for the whole team!
bryan made this picture. hahaha isn’t it so cute. and i dont know who this player is, but he’s cute too!
my teammates are :
:: Justina, the creative and quick-thinking fashionista
:: Mr Badak, the intelligent Manchester United fan who whipped up an awesome forum for us to hold our project discussions
:: Bryan, the fun, cheeky and funny guy that every team needs
:: Pinky, a super cute girl whose bubbly personality glues the team together!
we totally lucked out because we got sorted into the best team ever :) everyone’s cool, punctual, hardworking and smart; there was absolutely no unnecessary team drama and bossy or lazy teammates in Team B.U.M.P! yes that’s us. (B)loggers (U)nited for (M)ister (P)otato! :D
and our gameplan to beat all gameplans? it’s called OPS Kentang. HAHAHA i’m getting excited just saying the name!
the basic idea is this: we’re going to lobby for Mister Potato to sponsor potato chips for our police force, just like how the cops in the United States are sponsored free donuts for life. yes now you know how that cops & donuts stereotype came about :P we are proposing that Mister Potato be known as THE snack food for our Polis Diraja Malaysia. that would in turn make our cops happy, because potato chips make ANYONE happy and if they come in endless supply that’s even better, cos yknow, it’s never possible to eat just ONE potato chip.
and when the estimated 54,405 cops all over our country finish off their packs of Mister Potato chips, guess which team is going to be collecting all the empty packets and canister seals to help them win a certain Mister Potato competition? :P our team did the math, and if every cop in the country is entitled to a sponsorship of 10 packets and 5 tubes of Mister Potato chips in a month, that’s 544,050 empty packets and 272,025 seals for Team B.U.M.P to collect every month. HAHAHA! IS THIS A MONSTER-SIZED PROJECT OR WHAT.
now the challenge for us as a team is first of all – convincing the Mister Potato brand that this sponsorship is a great idea, and secondly – the logistical nightmare of collecting all the empty packets and seals from the 837 police stations all over Malaysia.
Justina, our Chief Operations Officer, and I, our Chief Communications Officer (i do love our lofty titles!) will deal with the first challenge of pitching this sponsorship idea. when the proposal goes through, we are then to make sure our working relationship with the brand is smooth at all times. you can read Justina’s blog here for an abridged version of the proposal for Mister Potato and the reasons why they should fall in love with our idea ;)
our 4 Regional Managers are given the task of working out a system to collect the empty packets and seals throughout the entire country and executing it to well-oiled perfection. another reason why we are the dream team – all of our geographical locations just fit together perfectly. Pinky who hails from Penang is in charge of all Northern Peninsula collection points, Bryan from PJ will be overseeing the Southern Peninsula, Mr Badak from Kota Kinabalu in Sabah is responsible for Sabah’s collection points, and finally Clare from Sarawak has her work cut out for her because she’s in charge of the biggest state in our country!
but how are they as individuals going to cover the collection for such huge areas, and in the case of Pinky and Bryan, covering several states? each of them have come up with their own individualized plan of action. click on their blogs to find out what they are :) strokes of genius, i assure you.
at the start of my blog post, i said i would be going to Manchester. well that’s just me being silly :) we’re not REALLY going for sure because we haven’t even won the contest yet. but i really hope that we do, because our game plan is so awesome, and Bryan and Mr Badak who are Man Utd fans would absolutely love the Old Trafford experience… while the rest of us girls can do our shopping. hehe!
you can bribe this cop with potato chips any day :P
so what do you guys think? just from reading about our gameplan, do you think we have a chance of winning this? be honestttt!!! *shifty eyes*
life, and i say this with much sprightliness, has been very interesting lately. lots of stories, flaring tempers, diplomatic conclusions, weighty decisions and other big adult things like that. it’s all giving me a bit of a headache, because i find that even though i’m not always directly involved in the circumstances at first, i’m always somehow dragged into the midst of the commotion. and then i feel responsible and start worrying. over-analysis is that grey cloud above my head in times like these. some days i wake up and i feel so angry, and the other days i feel damn sien. in an oh my god please stop that fucking construction next door when i’m trying to SLEEP kinda sien.
but! when life taketh away peace, it also giveth back some joy to thee! in the form of!!!!!! :
ARE YOU READY!!!!!!!!
1. DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE CONCERT IN MALAYSIA
yes. yes. yes yes yes yes yesyesyes DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE IS PERFORMING LIVE! HERE! IN KUALA LUMPUR, the land that made Gwen Stefani put on extra layers of stockings and told Linkin Park they couldn’t scream!
my fav Death Cab for Cutie album
rumour is that the Death Cab concert is going to be held at the KL Convention Center on the 12th or 13th of August. yes i know how unbelievable it is. i’m still not really over the news, and i am almost scared to put my heart wholly into trusting that they are really coming to KL. the previous fallacy of the rumoured Justin Timberlake concert was already enough to break my heart beyond repair. le sigh. my fragile heart cannot deal with another blow!
seriously, this is huge news for me. the last time i felt this pumped for a concert was when Oasis, Snow Patrol AND Franz Ferdinand were all in Bangkok at the same festival.
any Death Cab for Cutie fans in here?!?! entwined and hw, are you reading this?!
2. BEAUTY & THE BEAST: THE MUSICAL
Disney’s Beauty & The Beast
The Broadway Musical
Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
24 June – 3 July 2008 , 3:00 pm & 8:00pm
it was a fine, quiet Monday morning when i first saw the ad in the papers. then the still air was pierced by the sound of my shriek.
disney fan. have watched the movie 5 million times since birth. know the exact shade of yellow of Belle’s ballgown. know all the songs by heart – even Gaston’s song. as a kid, used to eat porridge the way Beast did, then get smacked for getting porridge all over her face. also made Beauty and the Beast paper dolls and lay them lovingly in a tissue-lined shoebox. one day wishes that her future husband will give her a library as a gift. when 6 years old, talked to her grandmother’s teapot and picked one teacup out from the drinking set to be the teapot’s designated son. need i say more. really.
i’ll be going for the 28th June night show! who’s going?
by the way i love Yvents!. i really really do. they have already brought to our shores My Fair Lady, Grease and Chicago, all of which i lapped up greedily. now.. may i be so bold as to ask for Les Miserables? Miss Saigon? Moulin Rouge? PLEASE!
3. ‘USA FOR STUDENTS’ – AMERICAN EDUCATION FAIR
U.S.A. For Students
Saturday June 14, 2008
10AM – 4PM
Dewan San Choon, Wisma MCA
163 Jalan Ampang, KL.
the USA For Students (previously known as Discover USA) is an annual American education fair that is open to the public. anyone who is interested in or even remotely curious about American education should drop by this Saturday for the fair, as representatives from many top US colleges will be present to answer your questions and assist you with your college applications.
i am very excited that this fair is back for two reasons – one, i get to meet up with all of my US-studying friends again (except Kiasu Andrew!) and two, because i am going to this fair as a rising freshman :) actually make that three; third reason is that i’m excited to impart whatever knowledge i have onto the current college applicants! definitely come if you want to learn more about college in America; i went to last year’s fair and learned loads. trust me, this is something you’ll want to do if you plan to apply to American colleges.
i’ll be helping out at this year’s fair at both the Columbia booth and the general FAQ for applications booth, so do drop by and say hi if you’ll be around!
oh and also! i plan to write a series of US Application Tips or a walkthrough of sorts on my blog over the next few months or so. from the amount of email i’m getting regarding US applications, i’m guessing this is something that will help a significant number of people who read my blog. so, keep an eye out for these posts! i give good tips wan :D
4. NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU
to those who watched and loved Paris je t’aime, i know you feel my joy and excitement at this piece of news – New York, I Love You is currently in post production and slated for release sometime next year.
to those who haven’t heard of either movie, New York, I Love You is the New York version of Paris je t’aime, a compilation of 18 short films about finding love in the different arrondissements of Paris. it is the most amazing movie and it completely blew me away. each short is beautifully crafted by different directors and writers (you’ll recognize most of them if you’re an avid movie-goer) and brought to life by many talented actors from both France and Hollywood such as the likes of Juliette Binoche, Gerard Dipardieu, Natalie Portman, Elijah Wood, Alexander Payne and Willem Dafoe. each short tells its own story but is brilliantly interspersed with the others – one moment you’re laughing, another you’re crying, another you’re nodding with empathy. i was so very very impressed when i watched Paris je’taime, and at the end of the movie, i was filled with such a mix of emotions that i just sat there stunned and craving for more.
and now, New York, I Love You is here. i have heard no news of it, and only chanced upon it by accident when i was imdb-ing Blake Lively, who plays Serena in Gossip Girl. i almost died when i saw the words ’sequel to Paris je t’aime’ upon some rabid scrolling. same concept, different city: New York, I Love You is an anthology of 12 different love stories filmed in the 5 boroughs of New York.
some of the directors that i recognize are : Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman who both need no introduction, Mira Nair of Monsoon Wedding fame, Brett Ratner who did XMen 3 and the Rush Hour series, and Shunji Iwai of Lily Chou-chou (does ANYONE have the dvd!! please let me know!).
and the actors? prepare yourself for the assault.
… natalie portman. scarlett johansson. ethan hawke. seeing these three names simultaneously were already enough to send me into cardiac arrest. i am their biggest fan. throw in clive owen and nicole kidman and i may just die. okay wait for the rest. just wait for it…
… shia lebeouf. orlando bloom. christina ricci. SHU QIIIIII OMGGGGGG ASIAN LOVEEEEE. john hurt. hayden christiensen. blake lively. rachel bilson. kevin bacon. maggie q. chris cooper. and many many more.
oh my god. 2009 feels so far away. i know i sound like i am hyperventilating; i probably am.
————–
four great things to look forward to.
life on this planet really rocks. i would put up with weeks of blaring and blasting construction if these are the rewards that my patience reaps.
paws up, all you party animals that will be feasting and frolicking at the Wild Live Blogging Party held by Nuffnang this 21st of June! :D
i am really excited because not only is this a party, but it is also a blogger’s party, and it is also a Nuffnang blogger’s party, and it’s also a COSTUME Nuffnang blogger’s party!!! it just doesnt get any better than that, what with the menu coming from Modesto’s (oh, the al funghi pizza!!) and the party’s concept being quite unique – the folks at Maxis Broadband will be sponsoring several units of their USB broadband modem as well setting up computers at the venue for bloggers to blog live. plus there’s a jungle theme! wildlife, wild live blogging… geddit? :D
i dont know if you guys have been reading the news about the Wild Live party, but like our recent Pajama Party, we all have to come in costumes for this one too! animal costumes, to be exact :) i’m still quite unsure of what to wear, and i know i’m not alone in this dilemma cos animal costumes arent easy to find or cheap to rent.
but lucky for me i have a few tricks up my sleeve. haha ;) and even though i REALLY REALLY want the Dell XPS M1330 prize laptop that will be given to the best dressed male and female that night, i just thought i’d share a little bit about what i plan to wear to the party and also how i put the costumes together. hopefully this imparting of knowledge will assist you confused bloggers out there with your own costumes! so, dont let my non-kiasuness be in vain ah.
1. LEOPARD COSTUME
okay, everyone has a leopard print something or other in their closet – be it a scarf, skirt, shirt, batik blouse, whatever. i actually have a leopard print slip that was the first thing i thought about wearing, but i cant seem to find it even after spending a whole half hour sifting through my wardrobe. and the other leopard print items i have are all random separate pieces, are not even of the same color, and don’t look good when mixed n matched. le sigh. soooo here’s what i did :
tada!
what i did for this Leopard costume was go out to Kamdar and buy one meter of leopard print cloth and … tie it around my chest :D so simple, yes? and all it cost me was RM 12.90. you can get leopard print cloth from most textile shops, but i went to Kamdar cos cloth’s cheap there and i’ve bought leopard cloth there before for many high school projects. there is a Kamdar outlet in Mid Valley, but the one i went to was at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, which is like cloth and crafts central. there are loads of textile shops in that area, and if you poke around you may be able to find tiger, zebra or giraffe print cloth in the nearby shops. i heart Jalan TAR!!
i accessorized by adding leopard ears which i bought from Teddy’s Tales a long time ago at RM 12.90, and drawing whiskers on my face. you can also turn the cloth into a proper slip-on dress by doing some cutting and sewing, but i was lazy so all i did was tie a knot, and ta-da, instant leopard costume :P
2. LADYBUG COSTUME
hahahaha isn’t that so unconventional! when i first thought of going to the party as a leopard, i realized soon enough that it was probably going to be the most common costume that night, simply because everyone probably has a leopard print SOMETHING hidden away in their closets. so i tried to think of something more unique, and i thought of .. a ladybug!
when i was at Kamdar, i picked up one meter of red Habutie silk for RM 3.80. even cheaper costume than the leopard one!!! the plan was to go home and cut circles out of black-coloured paper and stick them onto the cloth, but i was lazy so what i did was photoshop black circles onto the cape. hahaha. dont hate me lah! if i end up wearing the ladybug costume to the party, i *WILL* draw and stick the black coloured paper circles onto my costume, okay!
so i picked out a red skirt and a red tube top from my closet, paired it with a pair of black patent leather booties, and tied on my new ladybug cape. voila, instant ladybug! all i needed were some feelers, so i MS Painted some on. yay for improvisation :P
3. CAT COSTUME
i have this pair of white cat ears that i bought from Pottinger St in Hong Kong for about RM 9. i KNEW i would one day have a use for it, and that day is now! this was the simplest costume – all i had to do was throw on a white dress and put on the ears!
i accessorized by tying some red velvet ribbon to my neck for a makeshift collar. my thigh-high white stockings would have looked really nice with this outfit, but i left them in singapore :( so this knee-high red and white ones will have to do. i also drew some whiskers and some light cat-eye makeup, and put some pink lipstick on my nose for a more cat-like sniffer :P
this costume was practically built around the cat ears. without those ears, this costume is pretty meaningless. so if you guys dont have any animal ears, what you can do is go out and buy a plastic headband, then draw and cut out cardboard or paper ears of any animal, and tape it to your headband! mouse, cat, leopard, rabbit… it’s all possible. and you dont even have to spend money buying expensive animals ears or renting costumes!
———-
so there you have it – three costumes that i put together for the Nuffnang Wild Live Blogging party. they were cheap and easy, so dont you guys give me any excuses for not dressing up, okay? :P actually, it seems that any clothing item with an animal on it will gain you entry.. so if the only thing you have is a pair of Paul Frank pajamas with that monkey print on it, by all means wear that to the party. but dont be lazy lahhhhh okay! dress up nicely! give me a good challenge for that Dell laptop!!! it’s no fun winning it if no one else put up a good fight :\
okay with all that said! please do help me choose a costume for the party! which should i wear – the leopard, ladybug or cat? (edit: i added a poll on the right side!)
i got a free Big Mac yesterday at the McDonalds outlet in Damansara Uptown! and the day before that at Bangsar Telawi! and today i’m gonna head to whichever McD outlet i see first, for yet another free Big Mac :D omg i can’t stand it, the yummy freebieness of it all!!!
here’s what’s going on : McDonalds is having this promotion where if you can do the ‘Big Mac Chant’ in 4 seconds at their counter, you get a free Big Mac. simple as that.
here’s what’s even better : McDonalds teamed up with Nuffnang to organize a Big Mac Chant competition, where you stand to win RM 10,000 in cash if you take a video of yourself doing the Big Mac Chant as creatively as possible.
so… i did both :P i did the chant at the counter, took a video of myself doing it, and submitted it to the competition. here’s how i unabashedly made a lot of ruckus in McDonalds just for a free burger and a cheap shot at winning RM 10k cash :
(you can hear Martian’s sexy voice in the video. and dont laugh at me!!)
the chant goes :
‘Two all-beef patties
Special sauce, lettuce
Cheese, pickles, onions
On a sesame seed bun!’
to win the free Big Mac, you have to get a coupon that comes with every purchase of a McValue meal (i skipped this part with my wily ways hehe!). then you take this coupon to the newly-set up Big Mac counter at any McDonalds outlet, and do the chant while a staff times you. do it within 4 seconds, and you win a free Big Mac! if you don’t manage, then there’s always tomorrow :P
to take part in the competition, just take a witty and creative video of yourself doing the Big Mac Chant (no time limit; you can do the chant in 20 seconds or 1 minute or however long you want), upload it to YouTube then send the link to the email addy provided at the competition website. start gathering votes, and you’re on your way to winning that RM 10,000.
so, vote for me!!! pleeeeeeease. cos i really want that RM 10,000 :P and dont compete with me lah okay, i already teach you all how to get free burgers :(
here’s one of my favourite Big Mac Chant videos so far : clickety! i still have the giggles from watching it. and here’s another funny one :P so cute right! haih no matter how hard i try, i can’t beat these two videos.. let alone the scores and scores of videos that are going to be pouring in over the next four weeks.
ei actually, don’t vote for me! or at least, dont vote for this video. coz i’m going to brainstorm and come up with another video… the funniest and most creative video to beat them all. hmph. vickyvacko, leekwanlong and kimberlycun’s chin, watch out!!! pinkpau wants that cash prize too :P
urk i’m getting hungry watching all the videos. anyway if any of you guys are going to be taking part, buzz me with your link :) i’ll vote for you!
so 6 girls remain in Malaysian Dreamgirl after this week’s elimination, and i must say that i am extremely extremely disappointed that my favourite Dreamgirl was eliminated this week. sigh. regretfully, i didn’t vote for her this week, because i chose to vote for Jay. i should have voted them both or something – my favourite really had the potential to win the competition if only she had survived this week :(
last week the shoot was themed White Summer, where all the girls were dressed in white and the shoot was all sunshine and smiles :) i really liked how the photos turned out – so sweet! this week it was the Wella Inspiration shoot, where the girls got some really dramatic hair and loud makeup. mmm, i have mixed feelings about the mood of the pictures; in all honesty i didnt think any of the photos (except for Fiqa’s and maybe Jay’s) were nice at all. they made all the girls look like men and the lighting was just so tak ngam. too much shiiiiine on the skin!
visiting the Dreamhouse
my humble opinion on the Dreamgirls so far:
(read on only if you don’t mind knowing, or already know, who got eliminated this week!)
ADELINE: the thing is, her english actually isn’t so bad off-camera – it just sounds conversational and totally Malaysian. Adeline’s very quiet and never really has much to say. a very stunning girl in person cos of her height and her looks, but i always feeling like smacking some emotion into her expression during photoshoots. there is absolutely no intensity at all in her eyes – she looks either bored or stoned in all her pictures :( haih donno why after so many week still no improvement on her part. i wish she would smile more – she looks soooo super cute when she smiles!
CINDY: haha Cindy Cindy, the most controversial girl in the house. she’s a babe by most standards, and many of my guy friends who watch the show are absolutely crazy about her. i get the feeling she’s very used to people fawning all over her, and that’s why she’s just falling apart in the house because all of the girls cant stand her. the tomateoows incident was such a mountain made out of a molehill, you kneowww :P Cindy claims Nadia was mean and overreacted (called her pukimak!) about her small mistake of eating Nadia’s tomatoes, but Nadia tells us that when Cindy apologized, it was rude and flippant – “aiyahhh sorry lahhhh i pay you back lah okay??”. i think Cindy is definitely a very pretty girl, but she isn’t doing as well as i expected in this competition. for someone who’s so defensive and competitive, she seems to be paling in comparison to the others.
FIQA: i’m so depressed that Fiqa was eliminated :( Mr. BBQ and i were anxiously looking out for her at the MIFA showcase, but when we didn’t see her on the runway, we instantly knew what had happened. i couldnt shut up about how the show has no meaning for me now /dramatic T___T she was my favourite from the very start, even before that chun makeover, because she was sweet yet sexy, smart, bold and eloquent. she had this versatility about her that i thought would bring her very far in this competition. and summore when i arrived at the Dreamhouse that day, she was outside sweeping the leaves in the compound. so hardworking!!! T___T
it is VERY VERY unfair that she was eliminated during the one week where she trumped all the other contestants in the photoshoot. this is why i think the judges need to play a bigger role in the competition. they ought to TELL the audience who did well and who didn’t, tell us what goes on during the shoots that the camera never seems to capture – that way we know who deserves our votes. otherwise all of us will be just sitting back and not voting because we don’t have a compelling reason to vote for any of the girls.
HANIS: i loooooveeee Datin Hanis she is so adorable and i want to keep her in my pocket!!! her face is absolutely gorgeous and i love her bubbly personality. she’s one of those girls that you cant hate no matter what; you see lah even when she complains about the other Dreamgirls it’s so freaking cute :\
she is going to go very far. she has a likable face that she is slowly learning how to chameleon-ize. very nice! at MIFA, she appeared on the runway about 4 times for 4 different designers, and was even a muse for one designer :) i was so happy to see that. she’s got a great walk for a beginner and the right look for commercials and TV. here’s a rising star, everybody :)
JAY: like Hanis, she was chosen by designers to model their designs more times than any of the girls during MIFA. all the other girls (except Jay and Hanis) appeared only once – but Jay appeared 5 times for 5 designers, and each time, she worked the runway like a PRO :) Jay looked absolutely stunning that night – tall and elegant and refined. where her strong features can be a tad masculine for print modeling, it absolutely WORKS on the runway. sigh you had to have been there to marvel at how good she was. i really hope that she makes it big in the modeling scene after Malaysian Dreamgirl :)
Jay in red, strutting her stuff!
she’s got a great personality and nature as well. when we were visiting the Dreamhouse, it was so clear she was the one all the girls were comfortable with and looked up to. Jay’s very warm and mature, extremely articulate and polite – i liked her the moment i stepped into the house. and she introduced me to the nicest brand of crackers ever!! Jacob’s :D the little ones, then topped with tuna mayo. yum yum.
NADIA: it was very interesting chatting with her during the Dreamhouse visit :P in my opinion, she’s just a very misunderstood person. what comes across as bitchy and anal, is really just someone who has principles and sticks by them fastidiously. i told her that most viewers are of the opinion that she’s bitchy and unlikeable, and i asked her if she would change her personality if it was getting in the way of people voting for her. and she said no, she wouldn’t, because then her friends and family – the people whose votes mattered most to her – wouldn’t vote for her or respect her very much. it was nice to see that side of her :)
i think Nadia’s damn sexy, i really do. her infamous ‘garang’ face looks really good on the runway. like Tyra Banks would say (while wagging her finger) – fiiiiiieeeeeerce! i also appreciate how honest she is, though of course in a reality show where other girls are involved, this can come off as mean. also, this girl can really talk and talk and talk :P
RINGO: in all honesty, if Ringo wasn’t a celebrity blogger, she’d disappear into the shadows of this show. she and Adeline are the quietest of all the girls.. but even Adeline has something to be remembered for – her spoken English. it looks to me like Ringo is so afraid of committing another faux pas, that she’s trying not to do anything that would put her in the slightest of difficult situations. i don’t think this is working in her favour at all. instead, it’s giving people the wrong impression that she’s not willing to work hard to earn the votes she’s getting. right now all it looks in the show like is that she’s just existing; no passion, no verve, nothing :\ le sigh. she needs to let that fun personality of hers pop on-screen, even more so in her pictures.
me with the Dreamgirls :)
i’m glad to see that with Episode 11, there has been a lot of improvement in the show – less of the pointless things like girls eating, girls working out, girls getting spa treatment (all while random background music plays), and more of the interesting bits. things are picking up, yes? am also happy to see that they started displaying the photoshoot pictures during elimination – it’s good to have some reference when Sazzy is doling out her judgment on each girl’s photo.
but for some reason, the judges are STILL not playing the role of a panel at the moment. why are they called judges if they dont judge! and Sazzy is still a little bit irrelevant save for elimination time – which i believe would be infinitely more exciting if the judges handled it :\
all that said, i can’t wait for this Saturday’s episode – i hear the girls are going to be modeling Carven Ong designs!!!!! w00t. let’s see how this goes. pssst SSGers! Joanne was at MIFA too, modeling a gorgeous red dress by Carven Ong :)
this week, i’m voting for Hanis, because i think she’s shown the most improvement throughout the show. how about you guys – who are you voting for?
