THE DOMAIN
Quaintly.net was launched on the 1st of January 2006 despite being registered yonks before that. The Pinkpau begs for pardon (from who exactly, and for what?? i dont know but i’m just going to beg for pardon anyway. pardon is always good), but realizes that being a lazy, noncommital, procrastinating arse will always be a part of her. And if she can accept that, so should you and her mother.

She I moved to Quaintly.net after blogging at pinkskyes.tripod.com since October 2001. I was soooo apprehensive about the move cos Wordpress and all it’s PHP godliness sounded way too sublime for a technologically handicapped loser chick like me. But thankfully, salvation came in the form of a cute, adorable, PHP-savvy ball of fluff named Puppy, and in a jiffy, Quaintly.net was up and running. like, phwoar.

This blog has no particular theme, and it is not a certain kinda blog. It isn’t a political blog, an advertorial blog, a haha-funny blog, a Hollywood-obsessed blog (i leave this to the pros), or a blog to tell you what i had for breakfast (okay maybe sometimes i do this). It’s not an emo blog (LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE), it’s not a food blog. It’s just my blog. No specific theme. No recurrent pattern. Just a mishmash of all of the above and the occasional teen angst outburst. Hey come on, I’m 18. It’s a rite of passage.

This blog is powered by Wordpress and peppered with a lot of plugins whose names i cant pronounce.

This blog is hosted at Ultraunix, a local webhosting company that sucks my money each month and has 99.9% uptime.

This blog’s layout is very pink. I know you like pink. Recent studies say that staring at a lot of pink a few minutes every hour will enhance your sex life.

The sassy lookin’ girl at the top of this blog is Elisha Cuthbert. I originally tried to replace that header with a pic of myself in a similiar pose, but alas, I am no blonde-hair blue-eyed minx with perfectly plucked eyebrows. Okay wait, I have perfectly plucked eyebrows.
